As we can see, Okuu's Look-alike is obviously a huge fan of Japanese games and anime, and the Touhou Project specifically, with characters from the other series limited to two or at the very most three each. What an otaku! She has also kindly informed us to state that she sculpted all the characters' appearances by herself, using Mii Maker, without copying QR codes from anyone else. What the heck does that even mean? QR code? Sculpted? I'm glad I was born, y'know!
In contrast, the three semi-original characters, who are children of pre-existing islanders, were also given names with the intention of adding them to the island in the future, with no further amendment apart from changing their names and slight tweaking to their voice or appearance. However, I'm told there were others who didn't make the cut or who were sent away by mistake. Eep! Imagine your parents kicking you out of the house just because your hair was a little funny or even just on a whim of fate!
On the matter of children, it seems that Gensokyo Island's experiencing a huge baby boom at the moment, with more than 5 couples already announcing their plans for a child. It might explain the island owner's insistence at trying to get us shipped off to a new home as soon as possible and her distress at not having already done so. See what you get if you don't wake up early in the morning!
All of these were taken in a period of less than 72 hours. Does the presence of travellers raise the libido of islanders?
If anything, we may see a change in the island demographics in the near future as Okuu's Look-alike begins to more seriously consider inviting islanders' children to move into a residence instead of sending them off as travellers, by necessity rather than by choice. It's somewhat routine for island owners with a full apartment building to send any new children off into the wild blue yonder, but doing so with only half the building being filled is rather selfish, isn't it? At least it's better than being taken to the back and shot as a traitor to the island!

Children
Carmilla was born to Patchouli Knowledge and Overlord Mao. It's their first child! She is an Easygoing Optimist.
Chester was born to Aliasse Foerster and Minamitsu Murasa. It's their third child! He is a Confident Go-Getter.
Armin Arlert announced that his wife Recette Lemongrass was pregnant with their second child!
Reimu Hakurei announced that she was pregnant with her and Junya Ohta's fourth child!
Kyubey Incubator announced that his wife Alice Margatroid was pregnant with their third child!
